Singapore economy shrinks 10.1%, no recovery seen

シンガポール経済が10.1％縮小、回復がみられず

LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- The Singaporean economy was 10.1% smaller in the first quarter than it was at the same time last year, with no indication of a turnaround in the near term, according to a statement Thursday by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

ロサンジェルス － シンガポール経済の第1四半期は前年同期間に比べて10.1％縮小した。好転の兆しも見られなかったと貿易・商業相の木曜日の声明で明らかになった。

On a quarterly annualized basis, Singapore's gross domestic product in the January-March period fell 14.6%, with the ministry saying it saw "no decisive indicators of economic recovery."

四半期の年換算で、シンガポールの1~3月GDPは14.6％下落し、「経済回復を決定ずける指標はなかった」と同相は発言した。
