Question: I go to a private college in Philadelphia. I acquired a trust fund at age 18, which would pay for all of my expenses during my college years, except we hadn't planned for a recession. I lost a lot of money in 2008 and 2009, and reinvested my last $50,000 into ETFs. My portfolio now consists of a world stock index, an S&P 500 index fund, a mid-cap index, a small-cap fund and a money market fund.

It seems like I am making the right decisions, but could I be doing better? I made 23% since Feb. 11, 2009. As of today I will not have enough to finish college, and I am really concerned.
